sup guys its code Pony here and today I
want to address the state of up work and
lately I've been hearing a lot of bad
things about up work and I honestly on a
deep level I agree with that because I
don't like being charged for freelancing
and I've used up work before and I had a
decent experience I could have made a
bit more money if I found the clients
myself walked into some offices in my
local neighborhood or my local community
but it is really easy to just connect to
people online and you know just exchange
money there from there from your own
bedroom or something and because of this
I because of all the hate that's been
going on I do want to point out some of
the good stuff of the good features of
of work let's say for example you live
in a third world country where it costs
1/5 of what it does to live here and so
you can move to this third-world country
let's say Vietnam or something and you
can still make American money while
you're over there that's I mean that's
worse any any fee that they charge to be
honest and that's what a lot of people
do around the world they just use up
work or these American platforms and
they make American money while they're
in other countries and I mean that's an
option for anybody and it really it
isn't hard to be successful at up work
you just push out as many applications
as you can but I mean now that they have
those connects yeah the connects aren't
free anymore I guess it is a little bit
more difficult probably to cap some some
of that kind of activity and I mean I
think that's a good thing because it
makes employers feel less spammed and so
you have to really think about who you
apply to so good things about it recap
if you're living in a different country
I think it's great to do up work or any
American platforms because it's hard to
reach American communities whenever
you're in a different country right the
ease of use if you're just basically
lazy and you don't want to leave your
bedroom but still find clients and make
some money I mean that's a valid reason
right there
or three you just have a small community
and or you don't have a car something
like that you know they just might not
be enough clients in your local local
area so this is this could be another
avenue for you to find clients when
otherwise you wouldn't have any so
having a client is better than not so
this has been my commute I'll see you
guys next week
