but yeah i just put it back in my ear
what up phonies i know you're usually
here for software engineering content
you know career change the code but as
software engineers we have
a lot of different tools and
technologies that we use
and a lot of it is hardware like mice
keyboards
and today i'll be looking at um galaxy
buds live
and i was really excited about these i
got them for free for my pre-order
with uh my note 20 ultra
big flex i'm gonna say ultimately i do
love these
headphones earbuds whatever you want to
call them
but they do have flaws and if you still
want to get these headphones after
hearing about these flaws i have a link
in my description
i'd really appreciate it and let's move
on to the list of flaws
yeah so like in the beginning these
headphones get really grimy after about
an hour of use
and i always have to wipe it off with
like a kleenex or something
and then i also have to wipe my sweaty
here too kind of like like this
and it's not the best situation but it
is what it is
and you could say my ears are just gross
but i do use like q-tips and
stuff every day so i don't know
i think it might just be you know one of
those things that you can't avoid
another thing is that whenever you take
these headphones out
it's really easy to tap and like
accidentally skip to the next song or
pause or whatever especially whenever
you're cleaning them and you don't
really intend to skip
your whatever you're listening to and
also while it's in your ear
if you tap it sometimes it'll
you'll just accidentally double tap or
something and then it'll skip your song
or
it's just sometimes hard to get the
touch controls to work
exactly how you want them to sometimes
you even tap the wrong spot it's a
really small area
like right here and right
on the outside the peak and for my third
gripe sometimes it just won't pause or
play or just
function correctly with the apps that
are on my phone and this
is definitely some kind of software
issue it's not targeting the correct
application whenever it's connected to
your phone via bluetooth
so i can press play and it'll like i can
press pause for example and it'll pause
and then when i go to press play it's
like suddenly disconnected from the
application the application is still
there
and i can manually go in and press play
again
but the touch functionality won't work
anymore
yeah so those things aside i'd still
have to say they're the most comfortable
earbuds i've ever used i've
tried the air air pods i've tried um
galaxy buds plus
and it definitely is extremely
comfortable i usually alternate between
the left and right one
all day that way one's always charged
and you know the the battery pack is
pretty compact i can
keep keep it in my pocket there's a like
a magnet here so you can
you know they're not going to fall out
basically
so overall they really have changed my
work life completely
just my entire day pretty much i'm
always consuming random garbage i don't
really need to be listening to
but i'm you know you do anyway just
because there's nothing else to fill the
air
and aside from wiping the random crime
throughout the day
there's not really that much to complain
