hey I noticed something in you I noticed
that you have drive you have some
ambition or else you you wouldn't have
clicked on this
video there's something you want to
achieve and there's a bunch of small
things that are preventing you from
achieving that thing that you want to
achieve how do I know it's because I've
been there too so um just a little story
my colleague he sent me a a text message
today and it was a picture of a tweet
and in that tweet um it was someone just
saying that they've been trying to lock
in for 15 days
straight my immediate response was
couldn't be me but I was just joking uh
I can definitely relate to this state of
just stagnation
and I guess
unmotivated you know you know what those
days whenever you're just scrolling
through on your phone and until your
like eyes are blurry and
hurting this happens to all of
us and it
happens because you don't have momentum
in your life F first of all so today
we're going to be talking about the the
friction in your life that is preventing
you from reaching the momentum to get to
your
goals and before I talk about that I
want to make sure if this is your first
time watching one of my videos what we
do here is I pick a concept well
actually I asked you you to vote on a
concept that you think is the most
powerful each week and I basically make
seven videos on that concept so this
week's concept is Nuance um Latin for
nubis which it means like in the clouds
it later evolved to mean to shade and I
I think it it's a very Nuance in itself
is a very nuanced word but yes so we're
doing this in order to become articulate
we want to become as articulate as let's
say Jordan Peterson um you might not
like him but Ben Shapiro he's extremely
articulate and I think that any average
person who is
able-bodied with sound mind can achieve
this kind of articulacy the kind of
articulacy where you can express your
thoughts and emotions in real time as
you want to uh it's a skill it's like
you have to put in the Reps and one of
the most important things about
articulacy
is that the your inputs really help
dictate your outputs so I grew up with
very low quality inputs so my output was
low quality once I started improving my
inputs my
outputs dramatically got better so let's
get back to the topic of the video we're
going to weave it back in there um what
are what are the little things the small
the the small Nuance things that are
causing friction in your life to prevent
you from reaching your
goals so the first one I'd like to say
is um your outward environment
and I guess your outward expressions
like for example your clothing your hair
style your skin Health those things are
basically a reflection of how you feel
inside so if you look like a slob you
smell like shit and
and uh you're like
greasy there's a high probability that
you're going to feel like crap on the
inside as
well and that's going to be a blocker
when it comes to
you doing what you want to do what the
things that need to be done um no one's
going
to uh refuse to buy from you if you
smell good uh not saying that they're
they will buy from you from you because
you smell good but it's not going to
hurt no one's going to I
mean rag on you
for uh getting a haircut right so I
think it's really important
to if you want to make a million dollars
if you want to feel like a million
dollars you
should look like a million dollars I
mean that's a very subjective thing I'm
not saying you have to look like some
kind of model but you should feel good
in your skin
so that's the first concept there um
just looking at some bullet
points next uh I would say radical
honesty so being as honest as you
can at all times because how do you
trust someone who is dishonest you want
to be able to trust that you can achieve
your goals
and get to where you want to get
because I mean otherwi like you're the
person doing the things so if you're
promising yourself that you're going to
for example go to the gym
tomorrow whenever you say that you
immediately know to yourself even if
you're trying to convince yourself
otherwise whether or not you're going to
actually do that
tomorrow and that's a lot of that is
based off of how much trust you've built
with
yourself and that brings me to kind of
like the next step here is just yeah
building credibility with yourself so
how do you build credibility with
yourself in order to trust yourself you
do that by repeatedly consistently doing
the thing that you tell yourself you're
going to do and those things have to
align with a Crystal Clear Vision of the
future so whenever you have that Crystal
Clear Vision of the future and um the
track record to prove that you can do
what
you uh need to do then the present will
become much more clear to you as well
and the the actions that you need to do
will be more clear because not only can
you can trust yourself to do them in the
present so that makes a cohesive
holistic picture or I guess narrative
that gets you to the goal
State and so this this last concept is I
I don't even know if this is a Nuance to
be honest but I just want to talk about
it um you need to realize the value that
you provide to this
world I get this used to be a coding
Channel and I get a lot of comments and
questions from new grads for example on
whether or not they should drop out of
college whether or not they should uh
pursue computer science first of all to
answer those questions I think you
should not drop out of college I think
you should pursue computer science
because it teaches you uh very important
Concepts that translate very well to
real life for example scale so I think
in the upcoming AI age the most
important asset is going to be just
humans in general just being a human
will make you incredibly
valuable I mean most
people could I mean in the ideal world
most people will just be living lavishly
um due to the amount of value that AI
produc produces just non-stop AI is just
going to change the world completely and
I think within the next 20 30 years it's
just going to be completely different
landscape and I I think I have a pretty
good track record of um basically seeing
where these high value opportunities are
I I became a software engineer at a very
lucrative time so I'm doing super well
right now but I mean I'm always looking
for the future I have kids so I need to
be nimble and
uh basically look out for my
family and one of the areas of
opportunity that I'm seeing is um I
technically influ being an
influencer but I think influencing is
going to have a different meaning in the
future
because for example goods and services
that's going to
be completely changed by
AI so these parasocial relationships are
what is going to be valuable in the
future and that's what people are
calling um the personal brand and I
agree it's going to be the the next like
big thing especially with these 4u
algorithms these video platforms are
just kind of doing all the the the a the
previous advertising SEO work for you by
matching you with people who are
like-minded who want to achieve some
things and that's why I think it's so
important to have goals that are
achievable and important to you so for
example I could have made my goal um
make $10 million but that's not my goal
that is to my goal is to become
articulate so that I can sit in the same
room as some of the people that I admire
in the future and also to prove to
myself that I can achieve this thing of
becoming articulate and I mean today I
feel fucking great i' this is like
almost a like 8 minute video I feel like
I I've hit some kind of next level of
being able to speak to you um in a more
confident tone those are the little
nuances
here but yeah so this is those are my my
points I'm not going to waste any more
of your time uh just listening to me
ramble
on um we're going to be picking a new
word next week um I haven't looked at
the poll yet but I'll be making another
video about that tomorrow so I'll see
you again next time
