Strongest weapon against AI, before it's too late

are you worried about AI taking your job
or just impacting your life negatively
in some kind of way I think a lot of us
are having these thoughts especially
these days with AI actually coming to
fruition and impacting Us in ways that
we could have never imagined just like a
few years
ago um I'm I'm a software engineer and I
use AI every single day I still see a
lot of people do not use AI or refuse to
or just don't even know about it and
it's kind of crazy because there are
some people at the Forefront who are
using this all the time and it really
can accelerate your uh production and
your
efficiency but the people who
don't understand how to use AI are
really going to be left behind and I'm
not just talking about the people who um
don't use AI I'm talking about the
people who are not using it I guess the
right way as
well so let's talk about this and and it
really ties into the concept of the word
of the weak which is authenticity um
we're basically on this channel we're
trying to become as articulate as
humanly humanly possible and we basic we
cover a
complex and very important concept each
week and try to internalize that Concept
in order to U
basically uh put it put in a good input
and improve the outputs that we produce
in our lives so so that's my goal here
to be a good input into your life so
that you can become more articulate and
also maybe take have some takeaways for
um your daily life as well and so you
can become more articulate as well all
right so let's get into it
um your your best weapon against AI so
before we start talking about this I
want to talk about a really interesting
talk that I heard um Sam Altman have
about the future of AGI I'm not saying
that this a chat gbt is going to become
AI AGI in any
uh near future AGI is artificial general
intelligence by the way but he brought
up a good point that it's going once we
have agents agents are uh AI basically
it's uh
modularized
AI uh instances that can pretty much act
on their own and especially whenever you
start to put these into robots it's
going to be pretty wild because Ro I
mean there's going to be these AI robots
walking around but also if you allow AI
access to let's say the internet and
then give it some kind of autonomy it'll
be doing things like uh charging your
credit card for you it could P make
purchase orders for you just the the
possibilities are literally endless and
in that in that world the value that
humans
bring is very
questionable and he brought up a cool
concept I'm not sure if it's cool or St
opian but pretty much will'll have this
coin or token or whatever they're pretty
much going to use crypto uh like a form
of crypto to put humans on a blockchain
in a way from my understanding and then
you'll be going into some into some kind
of Temple to verify your Humanity every
now and then and in this crazy
world your value is inherently because
you are human so we're basically kind of
like building a new class structure
where AI is the lower class and then hum
humanity is the the upper class
so I mean this world might may be
decades away but we can already see some
impacts of this now so let's say for
example YouTube videos you can make a
video with AI um pretty easily you can
make the entire video with AI but right
now with the current capabilities you
you'll be making like 5 to 10 seconds at
a time
which as a viewer you can watch that and
maybe be fooled by the cut some clever
Cuts here and there but you're not going
to get the authentic human connection
that you're going to get from for
example my video talking to you right
now is this direct stream of thought
stream of conscious Consciousness and
we're connecting on a different level
and that's why I think for example
channels that do a bunch of jump cuts
and
um the the speaker can't speak for more
than 2 to 3 seconds at a time without
cutting to a different angle to b-roll
or something like that that's going to
be honestly at some point it's going to
have to be filtered out because how else
I can't really think of many other ways
to filter out AI generated
content and that's part of what I'm I
want to talk about today so the our best
weapon against AI is authenticity and I
think that's why it's one of the most
profound incredibly important Concepts
right now because whenever you can AI
can't really
be authent I mean it can be authentic in
a way to the viewer uh the content it
generates could be I guess authentic in
a way but if you drill down into the
true meaning of the word um all AI
generated content is derivative of
original works so those original works
are the authentic works so this what I'm
making right now with you is an
authentic
work and AI technically right now cannot
really do that because everything like I
said before everything it creates is
derivative and yeah so that's our most
powerful weapon just being authentic and
I hear this buzz word going around a lot
and and I actually like it it's the
personal brand I think personal branding
is going to be incredibly important in
the upcoming era and yeah so I'm at
Costco at the tire center they're going
to be patching my my tire so I'm going
to have to cut this short but I think I
pretty much covered everything uh that I
