talk about how I got my job in the
process leading up to the interview
you're a forward
no one asked but I really just want to
share the path that took me to get to
where I am today as the web developer
for my company little backstory I was a
sushi chef for seven years I was pretty
good at it but the last few years was
like an absolute hell and because of
that I made a determination to focus on
programming I'm not bragging but I coded
before work on my breaks after work I
had to sacrifice a lot of things I'm a
kid a wife and they really I think they
suffered because I was always so focused
on programming but sometimes you have to
make the tough choices and stay strong
if you want your dream to come true
especially when it comes to sticking to
the languages you've chosen that was a
really tough tough thing for me to get a
grip come to grips with so after about
six hours a day for four months I felt
pretty ready and I pulled the trigger I
started applying to two jobs a day bare
minimum for a couple of months and after
a couple months I actually got a I got
one bite with the sparse resume that I
had no tech experience whatsoever and I
actually got hired from them after a
couple interviews so more or less
moral of the story is you can do it how
do I know because I did it and I'm
probably less qualified than you are so
just do it so this is code phony out you
know let's connect like subscribe it's a
bell see you next time
